the pomodoro technique is a time management method developed by francesco cirillo in the late 1980s. the technique uses a timer to divide work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes long, separated by short breaks.
this timer follows the traditional method:
- 25 minutes of focused work
- 5 minutes of short break
- 15 minutes of long break after 4 pomodoros
